Good news! South African passport holders can now qualify for a UAE Visa on Arrival in Dubai if they hold:

✈️ A valid, unexpired USA, UK or Schengen tourist/visit visa
🇺🇸 A valid USA Green Card

This makes travelling to Dubai easier and more accessible for eligible South African travellers.

🇹🇭 TRAVELLING TO THAILAND? 🇿🇦

A quick visa update for South African passport holders:

Thailand has changed its visa-exemption rules, and from 15 September 2026, South African passport holders can enter Thailand visa-free for up to 30 days for tourism.

✈️ Previously: Up to 60 days visa-free
🌴 Now: Up to 30 days visa-free

So, if your Thailand holiday is 30 days or less, you do not need to apply for a tourist visa.

Planning a longer stay? Your visa requirements will need to be checked before travelling.

📌 Always check the entry requirements applicable to your specific trip before departure.
