Day 2 – Mon 19 Jan: Cape Town - Peninsula Route – Cape Town - 150kms
Our route takes us south along the False Bay coastline toward Simon's Town, a charming naval village known for its history and resident penguin colony. The road itself is one of the most scenic in the country, winding along mountain slopes and ocean views. We continue into the Cape Point Nature Reserve, home to the legendary Cape of Good Hope. The reserve forms part of the Table Mountain National Park, which in turn lies within the Cape Floral Kingdom — one of the world’s smallest yet most biologically diverse plant regions and a designated UNESCO World Heritage Site. In the afternoon, we return along the spectacular Chapman’s Peak Drive, tracing the rugged Atlantic coastline before heading back to the hotel via Camps Bay and Sea Point — the perfect end to a day of breathtaking views and unforgettable riding
