Arguably one of the best experiences I have had on a bicycle. Big statement, check out these photos, and they don't do it justice. I rode offroad, ascending 1200 metres, to about 2600m above sea level to the most awe inspiring place where an old Italian military road, the Corso Di Gardetta is carved out. The rocky outcrops of the jagged peaks are nicknamed "little Peru" and it beggars belief. I suffered for 3 hours to get there, seldom leaving my easiest gear, and even crossed snow, and then was blessed with a 30km single lane asphalt descent, to the town of Demante, what a day. In the end I rode 68km, with 1750m of ascent in 4h40. Beastly!!

It's finally official. Andrea and I heard the news last night that our partnership has been recognised officially and we are now a registered official couple. Those who know, know the path we have had to follow, but it's now done, and we are both so happy and relieved to be able to share the news. I feel so excited about our journey together so far and so looking forward to more amazing experiences with this beautiful soul.

Chamonix-day 2. A cableway to the top of Brevent Chamonix and breath taking views of Mont Blanc, Aiguille Du Midi and Chamonix. It is a paragliding, hiking and mountain heaven. Very blessed and a special morning enjoying such splendour.

Tuscany Trail Day 6 (the final ), between Rocchette and Donoratico, our start point, some 480km ago. We traversed the coastal path between Punta Ala and Fellonica, passed via Suvereto and up a beastly ascent to Sassetta, then a smooth descent back to the coast. There were moments of discomfort and some torrential rain, but there were truly beautiful moments of complete joy and fulfillment. Every patch of light needs a patch of darkness to allow the realisation that it's light...

What a beautiful journey this was and my girl was an absolute superstar. Thank you beautiful soul.

Tuscany Trail Day 5, Sant Angelo Scala to Rocchette. After torrential rain engulfed our area of Tuscany on Day 4, we were happy to not have a drop on day 5, others were not as fortunate. The day was a day of two halves, the first stacked with climbs, the second, almost pan flat. The biggest climb went to the village of Montorsaio with gradients around 20%. A traverse of the coastal wetlands, realised feeding Flamingo and an on shore sea breeze, taking us to our glamping tent at Santapomata village, never to be relived....but an experience nonetheless, right on the beach

Tuscany Trail Day 4, from Buonconvento to Sant Angelo Scala. It started with a straight outta town 23% climb and didn't relent until we reached Pienza, my favourite town so far. This was also my favourite day so far, despite getting drenched in the last 20km. C'est la vie, and no adventure goes past without some form of hardship. We take the roughs with the smooth. This is a truly beautiful part of the world, trying to be in the moment as much as I can to cherish each second and remember it fondly.

Tuscany Trail Day 2. Piece Di Santa Luce to San Gigmignano via Volterra. This was a day of climbs with 1650m of ascent. All the towns in this area are on the top of hills, so whenever you go through a town, you are sure to ascend. One rear flat tyre delayed us by an hour and a half, but we eventually had the help we needed to be on our way. San Gigmignano is beautiful but very touristy, not unlike any other pretty hilltop towns, but worth a visit anyway.

Tuscany Trail Day 1. Starting at the coast we rode North past Cecina, climbed up to a beautiful hilltop village of Rosignana, and inland toward Santa Luce, where we stayed at a farm house owned by Jonathan, who made us an exceptional meal of typical Tuscan cuisine.
