OPERATIONS CO-ORDINATOR

We’re looking for an Operations Co-Ordinator to join our team and help keep our fleet, drivers and daily operations moving in the right direction! 🚌💨
📍 Location: Blackheath, Cape Town
📅 Start Date: Immediate

🚌 YOUR ROLE
You’ll play an important role in ensuring our daily operations run safely, efficiently and on schedule.
🔧 KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
📍 Assist with route planning and driver assignments
📍 Coordinate daily driver and operational activities
📍 Support planners, dispatchers and clerical staff
📍 Monitor driver performance and attendance
📍 Track trip completion and operational requirements
📍 Liaise with drivers, clients, suppliers and management
📍 Assist with shift scheduling and operational coverage
📍 Help optimise routes and reduce empty kilometres
📍 Support fleet compliance, inspections and documentation
📍 Address operational challenges and escalate when required
📍 Assist with implementing departmental policies and procedures
🌟 WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR
✅ Knowledge of dispatch, fleet or transportation operations
✅ Experience in trip planning and logistics coordination
✅ Computer literate — MS Office
✅ Professional telephone skills
✅ Excellent organisational and time-management skills
✅ Strong communication and interpersonal skills
✅ Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
✅ Self-motivated and able to work independently
✅ Strong attention to detail and follow-through
✅ Passion for operational excellence and customer satisfaction
✅ English required; bilingual is an advantage
