River Canyon May 2022 - just a taste of this magical hike. 12 companions, several different Nationalities - Iranian, New Zealand, Russian, South African, British - a fantastic mix of people, incredible scenery, rivers to cross, hot pools to swim, cold nights and starry skies to ponder over a hot cup of tea (there is always time for tea) and of course - yoga!

The awesome thing about yoga is you don't need anything special, just yourself. (A magical backdrop doesn't hurt, and some great friends to laugh with lol)

22 Waterfalls - What a paradise! So this past weekend was worth every penny. Just an 1 hour 50mins from Cape Town we headed to 22 Waterfalls and was at home right away in our cute little chalet. Comfy beds and adequate facilities. Our hike to the falls did not disappoint. From the very first to the very last was worth the effort. Nearly 11000 steps, up wooden ladders, over boulders and a little rock face climbing, nothing too serious and with a little hoetspur you'll surprise yourself. The falls themselves were spectacular, we had fun braving the freezing water - exhilerating!!! Back for the best hot bath and a glass of bubbles and braai. The next day a fynbos hike through fabulous wild flowers and proteas. Giant gum trees just waiting for a hug and a spot of fishing (catch and release of course) What more could the soul require.
