Letter from Sarah Oliver UCT Global Citizenship.
Note of appreciation for Dawson’s Transportation It gives me pleasure to write this letter in appreciation of Dawson’s Transportation, for their committed service to the Global Citizenship Programme (GCP).
The GCP operates through the Centre for Innovation in Learning and Teaching at the University of Cape Town. We run short courses with aim of providing students with an opportunity to engage critically with contemporary global debates and to reflect on issues of citizenship, social justice and community engagement. For our Social Infrastructures Course, students are taken on off-campus classes, visiting different community spaces.
For the course this year in June, Dawson’s Transportation provided the vehicles and drivers for these trips, transporting students to and from the different community areas. They delivered a timely and professional service, with drivers who were polite and drove responsibly. It was also a pleasure to work with Avrill Dawson, who was very accommodating to all our needs. Dawson’s Transportation Company comes highly recommended.
