The main lounge and dining area is beautifully furnished, and the pool deck is the perfect spot for a relaxed lunch with a view.

Chef Letty creates wholesome, delicious meals with a touch of flair, and I loved the variety of fresh salads at lunch.

The rooms are incredibly comfortable, and the air-conditioning is a real win. The snack and drinks station (bonus points for the M&Ms and biscuits!), and a thoughtfully placed charging station next to the bed are small details that make a big difference. The bathrooms are huge, with twin basins and an outdoor shower with spectacular views.

Fred’s passion for the bush was contagious, and the bush walk was one of the best I’ve ever done – we were right in the heart of the action, with a herd of elephants calling to each other just 30m away! The night drive was another standout, setting Daunara apart from many other camps. This was a true nocturnal safari. It was super exciting to head out after dark and only return hours later!
