We are proud to introduce Tuhan Steyn, the Ntaba African Safaris Fishing Specialist

With more than three decades of angling experience and 15 years as a registered guide, Tuhan has built experience across a wide range of environments and styles of angling.

Based in South Africa’s Garden Route, his fishing experience stretches from the warm waters of Mozambique through to the estuaries, reefs and offshore fisheries of South Africa’s coastline.

His particular areas of expertise are light-tackle lure fishing and offshore tuna fishing. From working small lures in shallow estuaries to chasing powerful Yellowfin Tuna offshore, he is drawn to the technical side of angling and the constant challenge of reading conditions, understanding fish behaviour and choosing the right tackle and approach.

Whether introducing guests to light-tackle fishing or preparing an experienced angler for a serious offshore expedition, Tuhan enjoys tailoring the experience to the fishery, the conditions and the individual angler’s needs.

Through his network of trusted charter operators and industry contacts, Tuhan helps Ntaba create and coordinate fishing experiences suited to each guest’s interests and level of experience. When available, he also personally hosts and guides selected fishing experiences.
