Always fun to see a leopard tortoise (Stigmochelys pardalis) on safari! As Africa’s largest, wide-ranging species, they can live over 100 years, weigh up to 40 kg/88 lbs.

We were thoroughly impressed by the variety of activities, sites and wonderful people in KwaZulu Natal, South Africa. Of course the turtles are a bonus att his time of year too.
