What a great experience!
We booked guests from Switzerland in Derwent House Boutique Hotel, steps away from our office and Concept Store & Gallery in Kloof Street.
Nestled in a quiet residential neighbourhood at the foot of Table Mountain, this home away from home will be one of the places to book for our travel guests. And hopefully for you too.
We joined our guests for a delicious breakfast & the most delicious crepe with bananas and chocolate sauce, so yummy!

Ibo Island Lodge, situated in the Quirimbas Archipelago National Park in Northern Mozambique, is a place steeped in beauty and history.

A Holiday to this remote island, lost in time will be well worth it, Ibo Island was a trading post in the early 1600s, take this opportunity to visit the island’s fantastic ancient buildings, a lot of which still remain. Visit the local traditional silversmith tinkers away in his workshop while guests soak it all in.

The heart of Ibo Island Lodge is the Bela Vista mansion with its high ceilings, thick coral walls and a wide central corridor. Inside, cool lounges are furnished with antiques and books.

Accommodation at Ibo Island Lodge is in 14 unique, authentic and luxuriously decorated rooms, in three grand old mansions. Renovated by the locals, who still benefit from the lodge.

Rooms of indigenous solid teak and mahogany furniture, handcrafted by local people and king size beds decorated with crisp cotton linen and Indian silk throws thrill every guest. En-suite bathrooms have twin basins and large marble showers while wide verandas are a traditional feature of all Ibo mansions. Guests sink into soft comfortable plantation style chairs and enjoy drinks while absorbing sea or garden views.

After a long day of diving, dolphin viewing or just enjoying laying at the pool soaking up the warm Mozambican sun, join other guests on the Bela Visa Roof Deck, sip sundowners or after dinner drinks under the spectacular stars.

JOON TO FLY FROM PARIS TO CAPE TOWN THREE TIMES A WEEK FROM 1 APRIL 2018

Cape Town Air Access, a partnership between Wesgro, the Western Cape Government, the City of Cape Town, Airports Company South Africa, South African Tourism, and Cape Town Tourism, welcomes the announcement by the airline Joon that it will be flying direct flight from Paris to Cape Town next year.

The airline, which is part of Air France, has been designed to meet the expectations of younger travellers in particular.

This new service will replace the current Air France service offering, and will fly from Paris to Cape Town three times a week, as of 1st April 2018.

There has been a notable increase in arrivals from France over the last few years. Between 2016 and 2017, arrivals increased by 35%, from 55 029 to 74 278.

The top ranking source cities for arrivals from France are Paris, Nice, Lyon and Marseille, all of which have had double-digit growth between 2016 and 2017.
