Rise up early in the morning to experience your first safari drive of the trip in the Kruger National Park. Starting early means catching the bush as it wakes up, giving us the absolute best chance for an unforgettable game drive. 🌅

As the morning unfolds, we are keeping our eyes open wide to catch every movement in the thickets. First up, early morning we see Nyala buck moving quietly through the brush. Then, a brilliant flash of colour catches the light as we find a Lilac-breasted Roller perched perfectly on a roadside branch.

The excitement keeps building, and honestly, what luck to see the lions up close like this! This is a feeling you never forget. And truly worth the wait is seeing the elephants up close from the safari vehicle later in the day, just meters away. 🐘👀

Tracking the Big Five is team work, and GP and the game rangers make the journey just as fun as the destination.
