Huddy Golf Tours has just had the pleasure of completing a tour to the KwaZulu-Natal, Southcoast for the first Royal Golfers Association, Crystal Bucket Tour.

A fantastic group of gentlemen played golf in great spirits on 3 x great golf courses over 3 days - Southbroom, San Lameer & Selborne Park.

Thank you to the on-tour Members of the RGA from both Jo'burg and Cape Town for entrusting us with your tour, and we truly look forward to putting together your next trip.

One fine day, John and Don are out golfing when John slices his ball deep into a wooded ravine. He grabs his 7-iron and proceeds down the embankment into the ravine in search of his ball.

The brush is quite thick, but he searches diligently and suddenly he spots something shiny. As he gets closer, he realizes that the shiny object is in fact a 7-iron in the hands of a skeleton lying near an old golf ball.

John excitedly calls out to his golfing partner: “Hey Don, come here. I’ve got some real trouble down here.”

Don comes running over to the edge of the ravine and calls out: “What’s the matter, John? Is everything okay?”

John shouts back in a nervous voice, “Throw me my 8-iron! Apparently, you can’t get out of here with a seven.

I had the pleasure of playing golf at Rondebosch Golf Club () yesterday in the Royal Golfers Association's (.sa) Friday Business League in Cape Town
The condition of the golf course was fantastic and the service received throughout the entire clubhouse was sublime to say the least
I get to play there again tomorrow in the Royal Golfers Association's Sunday Social League and based on what I experienced yesterday, tomorrow (weather permitting) is set to be another memorable experience

The final course that I would personally add onto a Golf & Safari Tour that includes Skukuza Golf Club, Leopard Creek and accommodation in the Kruger National Park, is that of Highland Gate Golf & Trout Estate
An Ernie Els designed golf course that one can only describe as mind-blowing off every tee, is an experience second to none
For those serious golfers on a tour, you could quite easily play this course twice, once on your way towards the Kruger leg of the tour and then once again back on route towards Johannesburg from the Kruger - its seriously that good
So there you have it, a Golf & Safari Tour all in one - COMMENT BELOW as to who you'd want to invite for this tour

Golf Tour Professionals from around the world consistently rate this particular hole as their favorite hole - and justifiably so

Combining two of my favorite things in life - Golf & South African Wildlife (especially Elephants)
This video was captured by Greenkeeper Jean Rossouw and I find myself incredibly envious of this experience
If you are anything like me, and your true passions in life are Golf & African Bushveld, then I think we should plan a trip up to the Kruger National Park, and get a round or two in at Skukuza Golf Club.

Had the pleasure of playing at Clovelly Country Club this morning
The course was in superb condition and every staff member we encountered was incredibly welcoming and friendly
Thank you Hanko Bothma for your hospitality today, and well done to your entire team on a fantastic all round experience

A fantastic Social Golf League that was launched in January 2020, with the Cape Town Sunday League being the first of it's incredibly well received leagues

2021 will see a second league in Cape Town being introduced - a Friday Corporate League, and it's first Sunday League up in Johannesburg

If you are a keen golfer and you are not currently participating in a Social Golf League, or perhaps you are looking for another to join, give them a shout a get involved in what is arguably, South Africa's fastest growing Social Golf Association
