Coming to Cape Town ...
Tickets are selling fast for United Airlines new direct flights from New York/Newark to Cape Town!!
Commencing 15 December, the 12,600km direct flight on a Boeing 787-9 Dreamliner will take just 14 1/2 hours - shaving at least 4 hours off indirect flights, making this route more comfortable and convenient for leisure travellers.
Flights depart NY on Sun/Wed/Fri weekly, at 20h30 local time, and arrive into Africa at 18h00 the following day. Return flights depart CPT on Mon/Thurs/Sat each week at 20h50 local time, and arrive back into NY at 05h45 the following morning.
And with Cape Town once again being named "Best Destination in Africa" in the World Tourism Awards, Trip Advisor's "Top Destination", and in the top 10 of Travel & Leisure's World's Best Cities 2019, what are you waiting for?
With a network of direct regional flights, connecting you to safari destinations in South Africa, Namibia, Botswana and Zimbabwe, it's time to plan your African safari vacation!
Welcome to Cape Town!

A very inventive and powerful pictoral representation of how desperately we need to conserve our habitats and wildlife!

A brilliant 2008 campaign by World Wildlife Fund (WWF) has recently resurfaced. The campaign, called WWF Japan – Population by pixel, was created by the agency Hakuhodo C&D / Tokyo. The brains behind it were creative directors Nami Hoshino, Yoshiyuki Mikami, and designer Kazuhiro Mochizuki. Inspired by their work, Imgurian JJSmooth44 made this follow-up and it’s just as powerful as the original.

Another fabulous photo from the Masai Mara. This stunning zebra foal’s unusual and beautiful markings are probably a result of higher than normal levels of melanin - what a fantastic sighting!
