Why visit Namibia on a photographic tour?
This sparsely populated country has breathtakingly austere desert scenery lending itself to magnificent landscape photography. The wind sculpted red sand dunes encircling the Dead Vlei are some of the highest dunes in the world and an ever changing delight. Hidden in the dune fields discover the stark contrasts in colour between dunes, vlei and petrified trees.
Kolmanskop, the wind weathered remains of a once booming diamond mining town are evidence of man’s tenacity to settle and exploit every opportunity.
The feral “wild” horses run free in the extensive but sparse grasslands surrounding Aus. A special gift to be able to grab photos of these beautiful animals.
