*Even the thought of doing good is a gift from Allah.*

We cannot take a single step towards Him unless He first opens the way for us. Even the desire that enters our hearts to attend a gathering of knowledge, to make ‘ibādah, to repent, or to draw closer to Him — that desire itself is from Allah.

So when Allah places the yearning for goodness in our hearts, let us recognise it for what it is: a special invitation from Him. Respond with gratitude. Say Alhamdulillah, and do not allow that opportunity to pass.

To recognise that the desire, the ability and the opportunity to do good all come from Allah is itself a sign of Īmān.

Perhaps Allah has placed the desire for ‘Umrah in your heart. Perhaps He is already preparing you for a journey to His Sacred House.

O Allah, keep us always under Your special guidance. Keep our hearts turned towards You, accept our small efforts, and make us a means of guiding others towards You. Āmīn.

Alḥamdulillāh, Al Anwar July Umrah Departures 🤲🕋

اللَّهُمَّ هَوِّنْ عَلَيْنَا سَفَرَنَا هَذَا، وَاطْوِ عَنَّا بُعْدَهُ

Allāhumma hawwin ʿalaynā safaranā hādhā, waṭwi ʿannā buʿdah.

Meaning:
O Allah, make this journey of ours easy for us, and shorten its distance for us.

May Allah ﷻ grant all our pilgrims a safe journey, accept their ʿUmrah, bless them with good health (ʿāfiyah), and return them to their families forgiven and enriched with His mercy. Āmīn.
