We're excited to share the latest from our neighbourhood. Our annual festive gift-wrapping initiative raised a record-breaking amount thanks to our visitors and shoppers, and we donated R200,000 to the Santa Shoebox Project - Legacy.

In addition, we have an update from InterContinental Table Bay Cape Town, new stores and restaurants including French luxury pastry house Ladur?e, and events happening across the Waterfront. Green Cab has also introduced a new sustainable way of exploring our neighbourhood with the V&A Waterfront Orientation Tour, a private guided experience in a 100% electric vehicle driven by women.

This past July we had the privilege of hosting Sevenoaks Girls School as they travelled to South Africa for their hockey tour. Their itinerary was full of highlights — from fixtures against some of our top local schools to exploring hidden gems like Robben Island, Table Mountain, Lions Head hikes, Stellenbosch markets, and cultural experiences at Gold Restaurant.

It was a memorable journey of sport, culture, and discovery, and we’re proud to have shared these unique experiences.

Sailing Croatia Part 2 : Adventure with Katarina Line Croatia & One Turn Travel

The second leg of our Croatian sailing journey brought even more stunning landscapes, unique island experiences, and daily highlights.

We cruised from the charming streets of Korčula to the untouched beauty of Vis, soaking up the island vibes and exploring everything from Roman ruins to local wineries. Our early morning visit to Biševo’s legendary Blue Cave was absolutely magical, followed by lazy swims and lunch at the Pakleni Islands, and a guided wander through the historic heart of Hvar Town. Evenings brought lively dinners, buzzing nightlife, and time to simply relax and take it all in.

We wrapped up with a visit to the iconic Zlatni Rat Beach, before landing in Split for a deep dive into the city’s history—exploring the UNESCO-listed Diocletian’s Palace and discovering what makes this city so special.

As a bonus, we capped off the trip with a drive up to Plitvice Lakes, where crystal-clear waterfalls and lush forests were the perfect send-off to an unforgettable week.

Sailing Croatia with One Turn Travel & Katarina Line Croatia 🇭🇷⛴️

Only a few days into our adventure, and sailing around the Croatian islands has already exceeded all expectations.

Katarina Line has set the bar high—the food and service on the boat have been outstanding, and every excursion has been thoughtfully planned and absolutely top notch. From exploring Dubrovnik’s Old Town and swimming in hidden bays, to oyster tasting and lively evenings at the captain’s dinner, each day brings something unique.

We’re especially grateful to Chris Brothers and Mari Brothers from One Turn Trading / One Turn Travel.Their insight, and personal attention make all the difference. It’s a real pleasure watching the One Turn Travel community come together for such memorable adventures.
