This Mandela Day, City Sightseeing Joburg proudly joined hands with the Johannesburg Inner City Partnership, Stuttaford Van Lines, and the United Ethiopian Community Association to support 67 Blankets for Nelson Mandela Day, celebrating 11 years of the heartwarming Secret Scarves, Shhh... initiative.

Port Plein Park was transformed into a sea of colour and compassion - with scarves lovingly tied to trees and fences for anyone in need to take, no questions asked.

A beautiful reminder that a little kindness goes a long way. Thank you to every volunteer, partner, and community member who made this possible. Madiba’s legacy of unity and giving lives on in every thread.

This Mandela Day, the City Sightseeing Cape Town team joined Jenny’s Soul Kitchen for a truly special experience – spending our 67 minutes giving back through something as simple yet powerful as preparing a warm meal.

Armed with chopping boards, knives, and hearts full of gratitude, we helped prep vegetables that would go into nourishing bowls of soup for those who need it most.

Thank you, Jenny, for welcoming us into your beautiful mission of feeding the soul through kindness and community. It was a privilege to be a part of it, and a reminder that Madiba’s legacy truly lives on when we serve with love.
