DID YOU KNOW that his company was named after Ulysses, who was the king of Itchaca, called Odysseus in Greek. He was the mastermind behind the wooden horse used at the siege of Troy. After the taking of Troy, Ulysses set out for Itchaca, which, however, he did not reach for twenty years. During this time he experienced the travel adventures described in The Odyssey by Homer.

Constitution Hill is a living museum that tells the story of South Africa’s journey to democracy. The site is a former prison and military fort (built by the ZAR Government of Paul Kruger in 1893) and is now home to the country’s Constitutional Court.

Nelson Mandela, Mahatma Gandhi, Joe Slovo, Albertina Sisulu, Winnie Madikizela-Mandela, Christiaan de Wet and Daisy de Melker all served time here, but the precinct also confined tens of thousands of ordinary people during its 100-year history.

We visit this site as part of our Johannesburg city tour but is also worth a visit on its own.

Today we visited Langa Township, Cape Town (Langa in Xhosa means"SUN"). Our client turned 10 years old and has been collecting soccer balls from family and friends for his birthday to donate them to a needing school in Langa. . Thank you tour guide Gavin for sharing.
