The Unwin family has been visiting Nature’s Valley’s caravan park for more than a decade, before acquiring property in the village in the 1970’s. I can think of at least two handfuls of families who did the same.

The older folks may not be with us anymore, but their kids and grandchildren are still coming to Nature’s Valley, year after year and those ‘founder residents’ legacy live on!

There must be hundreds of beautiful photos of years gone by, capturing family holidays and seeing the evolvement of our little forest village, right here in the heart of the GRNP’s Tsitsikamma section.

‘Times, they are a changing’, as the song goes, but memories are there to stay.
