Gladiolus ceresianus, commonly known as Ceres gladiolus, is a flowering plant native to South Africa, specifically found in the area of Ceres. This one at the farm Alhambra .This species typically grows on rocky slopes and flats in clay soil, thriving in relatively high rainfall regions. It is characterized by its small stature, reaching heights of about 10-18 cm, and produces fragrant flowers that bloom from August to October. The plant is not in danger of extinction, with a range that extends from the Koue Bokkeveld to the Roggeveld Escarpment, and it has been noted for its ability to recolonize disturbed areas.
