CAPE PENINSULA HIGHLIGHTS
Travel via the Atlantic seaboard to Hout Bay fishing harbour. On via the spectacular Chapman’s Peak Marine Drive to the Cape of Good Hope National Park. See both Cape Point and the Cape of Good Hope. CITY AND MUSEUMS
A tour of the city centre of the “Mother City” gives you a complete overview of the incredible history of South Africa. Includes a cable-car trip to the top of Table Mountain, a tour of the historic centre (the Castle of Good Hope, City Hall, Grand Parade); the Houses of Parliament and Company Gardens; the Bo-Kaap area - for a taste of “Cape Malay” culture; and the vibrant Victoria and Alfred Waterfront. In the afternoon, take a ferry to Robben Island World Heritage Site, to see the former Maximum Security Political Prison.
