Finally got to see and experience Kariega Game Reserve. Fantastic scenery and plenty of wildlife. Fortunate to stay at the 5-star Settlers Drift Lodge which was fantastic. Great service, beautiful location on the Bushman’s River and super knowledgeable rangers. Definitely a perfect safari option in the Eastern Cape.

A very special experience staying at Shamwari Sindile Lodge whilst viewing all the amazing lodges and upgrades at Shamwari Private Game Reserve. It is a world-class reserve and has a great variety of different lodges for all travellers (honeymooners, friends travelling together, families, multi-gen exclusive-use groups, and anyone wanting to escape for an unforgettable wildlife experience). The new airstrip that will be completed shortly, together with the launch of Shamwari Air, will be a game changer, with direct flights from Johannesburg and Cape Town. The personal service, quality food and exceptional game viewing definitely makes Shamwari a must visit when coming to South Africa. We can’t wait to send more of our guests to Shamwari!

Spier Hotel is back and amazing!!! Got to see the beautiful refurbishment this weekend of the hotel at Spier Wine Farm, and love it. Gardens still need a bit of time to bed in, but the rooms and general hotel areas are fantastic. Love the upgrade to the pool area, plus the restaurants and rooftop bar. Definitely a place we will be using more in our itineraries.

Spectacular day in Cape Town for golf at Milnerton GC. Course a little dry this time of year, but greens were great. However, hard to beat this backdrop anywhere in the world! 👌

Perfect end to my mini road trip with the kids - thank you Bushmans Kloof Wilderness Reserve & Wellness Retreat. I’ve wanted to stay here for such a long time, and it was perfect. Such a unique place in the heart of the Cederberg - the scenery and landscapes are spectacular, and then you combine this with luxury accommodation, superb food, friendly and attentive service…and then add in some big sky star-gazing, beautiful forna and flora, and ancient Bushman rock art. Wow, love it here! So peaceful and so good for the soul.

So nice to be back at Pearl Valley Hotel By Mantis and Pearl Valley Golf Course, but this time with my kids. They absolutely loved it there and as usual, the golf course was spectacular. Such an amazing place to stay and play golf!
