Finally got to see and experience Kariega Game Reserve. Fantastic scenery and plenty of wildlife. Fortunate to stay at the 5-star Settlers Drift Lodge which was fantastic. Great service, beautiful location on the Bushman’s River and super knowledgeable rangers. Definitely a perfect safari option in the Eastern Cape.

A very special experience staying at Shamwari Sindile Lodge whilst viewing all the amazing lodges and upgrades at Shamwari Private Game Reserve. It is a world-class reserve and has a great variety of different lodges for all travellers (honeymooners, friends travelling together, families, multi-gen exclusive-use groups, and anyone wanting to escape for an unforgettable wildlife experience). The new airstrip that will be completed shortly, together with the launch of Shamwari Air, will be a game changer, with direct flights from Johannesburg and Cape Town. The personal service, quality food and exceptional game viewing definitely makes Shamwari a must visit when coming to South Africa. We can’t wait to send more of our guests to Shamwari!

Spier Hotel is back and amazing!!! Got to see the beautiful refurbishment this weekend of the hotel at Spier Wine Farm, and love it. Gardens still need a bit of time to bed in, but the rooms and general hotel areas are fantastic. Love the upgrade to the pool area, plus the restaurants and rooftop bar. Definitely a place we will be using more in our itineraries.
