Above is the planned tours of Pumba Adventures for 2024. As you can see, we are going to concentrate on our Botswana visits and we do plan three tours to our neighboring country, and a single tour to our beloved Namaqualand during the peak of the flowering season.
Our Botswana tours will be a circular route through Botswana into the Caprivi, back into Botswana with a quick visit to Zimbabwe, back to Botswana and eventually back into South Africa. Some of the routes will be a challenge to drive and therefore it would be necessary to service your 4x4 in advance. We will be travelling through the Central Kalahari Desert, through the Okavango Delta, through wild, wild country, while camping in the wild where the lions and buffalo will be our companions……..does that sound exhilarating? Then these tours would be just for you!!!
Due to international currencies and taxes, it is impossible to give you and exact price at this stage, but if you start saving now, the price would certainly suit you. We are working around R6000.00 per person joining us (this might change). That would exclude your border fee’s, border taxes, road levies, fuel, food, snacks, drinks and pocket money. Pumba will be responsible for the accommodation, light breakfast, and most of the entrance fees. 4x4 assistance will also be available as well as a booklet of our tour… We will finalize the costs closer to our departure date. We will also then give you more details about our tours at that stage.
Please note that when you book your Botswana tour, a deposit of 50% of the actual cost will be payable. The rest of the money would be payable at departure.
We want to treat you to an unforgettable two weeks tour.
We also plan a flower tour to Namaqualand during the peak of the flowering season, with a visit to Niewoudville, Clanwilliam, Springbok and other ghost towns in the Northern Cape. The quiver tree wood and beautiful waterfall in the Niewoudville area with a steep decent down the Hell-se-pas to the Knechtsvlakte is a must to experience. Also on the bucket list will be the Clanwilliam wild veld flower exhibition. We will visit the Copper mine at Springbok and the mine museum in Nababeep. All this while the flowers around us is in full bloom. On our way back we will overnight in Augrabies with a quick visit to the Augrabies waterfall. On this tour we would like to minimize the costs to a level where you as customer will only be paying for your fuel, food and pocket money… again, if you are interested, please do not hesitate and wait until it is too late?
