Craig's Place Craig’s Place is an immaculate lodge situated on the pristine Highland Gate Golf & Trout Estate.

The lodge is a collection of fine finishes, promising to be the ultimate adult retreat and is therefore not suited to hosting children. On rainy days the central fireplace invites you to cozy up with a good bottle of red and on sunny days the spectacular view will entice you to enjoy sundowners on the private deck. The architecture, designed to embrace the surroundings is positioned to hero both t

he scenic beauty, and spectacular 4th & 5th holes of the Ernie Els signature golf-course. The unobstructed views leaves little to the imagination and is therefore not pet friendly. The luxury serviced lodging has been designed to host six guests, all 3 bedrooms leading onto a private deck, offering unrivaled views. There are 2 en-suite bedrooms with both a bath & shower and a 3rd bedroom adjacent to a bathroom with shower only that doubles as a guest toilet. The bed configuration in all bedrooms are made up as single beds pushed together. An open plan laundry/kitchen/lounge expands into the indoor braai/dining room. This multifunctional area leads out to the adjacent deck overlooking the front lawn boasting a private astroturf putting green. Arrivals & Departures - 12.00pm

Off Peak & Midweek (Monday - Thursday) R6500/night

Peak Time & Weekends (Friday - Sunday) R8000/night

There will be a breakage deposit of R3000 payable that will be refunded within a week from checkout. Bookings require a 50% deposit and the balance has to be settled 14 days prior to check in, with proof of payment provided. Cancellation policy:
• 100% forfeiture of deposit if cancelling 14 days prior to arrival
• 50% forfeiture of deposit if cancelling 21 days prior to arrival
• 25% forfeiture of deposit if cancelling 30 days or more prior to arrival

Dependent on availability, guests can enjoy sessions in yoga/fitness/ballet barre and contemporary dance. Prior booking is essential and will be billed at an hourly rate of R200/person for group and R600/person for private sessions. All bookings must be settled 7 days prior to stay, with proof of payment provided. As the lodge is linked to a private, exclusive yoga/dance studio with a separate changeroom & bathroom, the ample parking facilities are shared. There is also a private cottage with a separate entrance permanently occupied by the instructor & lodge owner when in SA.’

Soirée weekend packages will include entertainment by either music or dance artists, ranging from crooners to ballet pas de deux’s and will be hosted in the expansive, upstairs, private studio, boasting unrivaled views. Price per head will include tapas styled catering, making for a memorable occasion.

Esmé and Angelique wish to thank our festive little town of Dullstroom for the welcoming ambience enjoyed by our UK guest Christie Anderson and long time colleague Ms Heidi Wright. The variety of eatery’s and quaint shops make for an enjoyable outing and memorable experience 💝

Hosting Ms Heidi was an honor while she worked tirelessly with Angelique, Director of Harris Combine, on refining the Maestro Enrico Cecchetti Final Diploma work for Christie’s exam later this year 🩰

The tranquil atmosphere at Highland Gate Golf Estate is the ideal environment for Craig’s Place. The resident Harris Combine, conducts customized workshops in the expansive 125m upstairs studio boasting sprung wooden floors and ornately mirrored walls. The main house luxuriously hosts guests for the duration of their stay while the treatment room is the perfect space to ease tense muscles 🤩

We are all set for Harris Combine’s first, 3 week wellness retreat for elite athletes, to be hosted at Craig’s Place in 2025. Being able to welcome our international guest at the airport in our recently branded Jimny, is quite special 🚙

All sessions have been personalized to meet our clients needs, and seeing to their individual nutritional preferences, is of the utmost importance to our team🧘🏻‍♀️

With our treatment room now complete, we look forward to offering additional support to our patrons during their stay with specialized therapy sessions to ease those muscles 💝

A weekend getaway at Elephant Point, gives us the opportunity to share our unique natural heritage. The early morning catered game drive, firelit boma dinner on a river bank, top to toe pamper session and traditional private braai at our luxury game lodge, promises to leave a lasting impression 🐘
