Why has Bushbaby Safaris been so quiet? Im glad you asked because you're missing out!

Since 2023, we have rebranded Bushbaby Safaris to the new and fresh Guiding The Wild and have slowly been moving everything over in a peaceful transition.

Why rebrand? Well, though we will always recognize, adore, and return to our roots in Africa, we have extended way further than just Africa, with adventurous tours happening all around the world we needed a name to reflect that, and of course, with our soul purpose always rooting back to nature, Guiding The Wild it is! šŸŒ

If you aren't already, we hope to see you on our new pages!

We are planning our next trip to India, and would like to check the interest levels for another snow leopard trip, in Feb 2027. Sounds far away but its not. Please let me know if your interested in more information. No obligation needed just a show of hands. We have two already so don't be shy.

The main part for India will be a very different tour focusing more on wildlife although a small optional add on for cultural highlights will be offered. This time we will focus on central parks of India.

Came across this beautiful Lioness lazing in a Sausage tree, and a lost Thompsons Gazelle came trotting in under the tree. The Lioness woke up to late but at least we got to see her sit up, come down and pay some interest. Never a dull moment on safari. Got To Love Africa

And we have lift off. Balloon trips over the Serengeti are magical. Worth the early wakeup on any day of the week.
Followed by a scrumptious bush breakfast. Got to Love Africa.

Today, I lost a friend of 25 years, a mentor and a all round great man. Many of you will have met Pat over the years as he did many of our Battlefield and Zulu Culture tours for us. He was in many ways, an important part of my business and my life. He taught me how to absail, he taught me so much about the various battlefields and he was our Old Bill at our MOTHS club but that was just a title, as he will always be our Sargent Major. He called a spade a spade no matter how much it offened you, and for that and so many other reasons, I will miss my friend.

I am sure he is happy to have his leg back and is noboubt ordering St Peter around up there. To his family, my condolences, love, and prayers.

We will remember him. Rest now Pat, Until we meet again. Our Diamond in the rough.
