A truly unforgettable day exploring the heart of the KwaZulu-Natal Midlands!

Our guests enjoyed a scenic journey along the famous Midlands Meander, with fascinating stops at the inspiring Nelson Mandela Capture Site, the breathtaking Howick Falls, and the beautifully handcrafted creations at Ardmore Ceramics.

We also treated our guests to a beer tasting at Rawdons Hotel’s Nottingham Road Brewery 🍻, followed by a delicious lunch with spectacular views at Blueberry Hill Café. ⛰️

From culture and history to local flavours and stunning landscapes, this day trip had it all!

What a wonderful day exploring the beauty of KwaZulu-Natal with our ship guests! 🌿🦒

Our first stop was the stunning Tala Game Reserve, where we enjoyed the peaceful surroundings and warm hospitality at the reception area. While we didn’t head out on safari this time, the natural beauty of the reserve was still a treat to experience.

Later, we made our way to Durban’s iconic uShaka Marine World for a magical sunset gondola ride, followed by a memorable dinner at the world-renowned Cargo Hold Restaurant. 🌅🚤🦈

Durban truly showed off, with breathtaking views and a golden sunset that made the city look absolutely spectacular.

Rain or Shine – The Game Keeps Coming! 🦁🌧️

Pouring with rain out there… but that didn’t stop some absolutely fabulous game viewing!

There’s something special about the bush in the rain — the colours deepen, the air feels alive, and the animals carry on as if nothing has changed. Even in the downpour, nature puts on a show worth every wet moment.

Proof once again that in the wild, the experience doesn’t pause for the weather… it just gets more memorable.
