Fort Amiel Museum | Northern KZN Battlefields Route.

Step back into the history of Newcastle at Fort Amiel Museum, a restored British military base originally built in 1876.

The fort played a role during the Anglo-Zulu War of 1879 and the Anglo-Boer Wars, making it an important stop on the Northern KwaZulu-Natal Battlefields Route.
