Forecast was the first casting and character agency in Durban.

Dede Mina, Casting Director heads the casting department with over 25 years’ experience. Nashoda Billy runs Forecast’s established character department with over 3000 artiste of all ages from extras to actors and everything in between typifying the rainbow nation. Forecast offers selective casting for television, film and print campaigns. We have both international and local clients from advertisi

ng agencies to production companies. Street casting has been one of our forte, we are known to go the extra mile to make sure our clients are satisfied. We are able to provide and recommend reputable professionals based in Durban from make-up artistes, location scouts, interpreters, photographers, child minders, cast coordinators etc. Services:

Forecast has an in-house studio available for casting and hiring. It is equipped with air-con, 2x tripods (stills & film), 2x Sony Handycam cameras, 1x Fujifilm Finepix Digital camera and 1x Cannon HD Digital camera. A TV monitor is also available for playback. We operate using the Film-it format and performance is captured onto either mini-dv, DVD, mp4 etc which can be uploaded onto client's FTP site, or sent via dropbox, we transfer etc.
