On our Let's Go birding group outing this morning (led by Lauren) to Rietvlei (milnerton) they had a great distraction of this Cape Clawless Otter at the hide! 🙂

Another successful Guided group outing, led by our guide Lauren to Rooiels, Pringle Bay, Harold Porter. A few of the specials were Cape Rockjumpers, Blue mantled Crested Flycatcher, Striped Flufftail (heard only), Cape Eagle Owl, a few unidentified Albatross (most likely Black browed & Shy), Brown Skua, White chinned Petrel. 50 species logged.

A Grey canvas yesterday in Cape Town, but still a good day out birding and bagged most of the special targets for my American "dad & Son" guests, including Cape Rockjumpers, all 4 marine cormorants, Blue mantled Crested Flycatcher and the weather played along for some Pelagic birding from the Point in Pringle Bay with a few Giant Petrels flying close to shore.
