I had no idea what to expect in Africa on my first safari hunt, but I could never have anticipated the amount of care, safety and professionalism I experienced on this trip. It has truly been one of the best adventures I’ve had the privilege be a part of. The staff truly goes above and beyond to ensure you have the best time possible. The food was unbelievable, the attention to detail, the diversity of game and flexibility of meal preparation are all reasons I would give the chefs of Motsomi safari 5 stars. I have been an avid hunter nearly all of my life, but I still was able to learn so much from great and experienced guides on this trip, who never failed in locating and stealthily stocking every animal I desired to hunt.

This was my first African adventure, so I didn’t really know what I was getting myself into. Let me say that any expectations that I had were totally blown away. The level of professionalism and quality across the board made this the trip of a lifetime. Pieter was outstanding putting us on animals and Simon was most excellent with his ability to track them. The entire lodge staff was spot on. I can tell you that I never even had the chance to get hungry. Three excellent meals a day, which usually included camp meat from the hunt, was a real treat. Also very impressive is the level of respect the entire organization has for their clients and for the wellbeing of the land and the animals that we had the privilege to hunt.

Motsomi Safari booked our vacation from walking with the lions, touring Kruger park or a BBQ at home. The laughter and memories with Peter and Benji were the same feeling as visiting your favourite friends or family. We thank you both for everything and looking forward to visiting you again in South Africa.
