🍷 Every tour tells a story... and today was a fantastic day exploring the Cape Winelands with my wonderful guests from Dallas! 🇺🇸

We kicked off the adventure with a collection from Spier Wine Farm visited a few spectacular wine estates, and enjoyed a delicious lunch at The Table Restaurant at De Meye —one of the Winelands' hidden culinary gems. 🍽️✨

Exceptional wines, breathtaking views, great conversation, and memories to last a lifetime.

🐾🍷 Dear Diary… Mia here.

Yesterday my pawrents from La Rochelle Tours - Wine & Gourmet took me on the most pawsome adventure to Boschendal… and honestly, I have to say — they have excellent taste. 😉🍷

While they were busy admiring the wine, the views, and pretending they were the important ones… I had a very serious job to do.

I inspected every blade of grass, investigated suspicious smells, checked the walking paths, and made sure everyone knew there was a tiny but extremely important Dachshund VIP on the estate. 🐾✨

The Winelands in winter? Absolutely pawfect. 🍂
The scenery? Stunning.
The humans? Acceptable.
The treats? We need to have a meeting about this. 👀

They were swirling wine in glasses… I was swirling my nose through everything. 🌿🐶

My official review:
🐾 Views: 10/10
🐾 Walks: 10/10
🐾 Compliments from strangers: obviously 11/10
🐾 Treat service: room for improvement 😌

My pawrents called it a “wine tasting experience”… but between us, I know the real reason they came — to take cute photos of me looking adorable while I did the hard work of being the estate’s most important guest. 📸🐾

Because winter in the Winelands just hits differently when you have tiny paws, a big personality, and a nose that never takes a day off. 🍂

Winelands Fire Protection Association Cape Winelands DM Volunteer Wildfire Services Visit SA Winelands

The Winelands Fire Protection Association, Volunteer Wildfire Services and multiple other teams have been and still are working tirelessly to control the fire in teh Bo Hoek in Franschhoek Wine Valley.

I took this 📹 from the Franschhoek Pass today.

Thank you is all we can say to all involved for trying to extinguish these fires.
