With their flat bodies and sandy camouflage, these sneaky ambush predators are often mistaken for rays — but they’re sharks through and through! 💪🦈
⚠️ Sadly, many angel shark species are now critically endangered due to habitat loss and destructive fishing methods like bottom trawling 🎣.
But there’s hope! Conservation efforts and awareness campaigns are helping to protect these rare and fascinating creatures.📢
