🌊 An update from Sea-la-Vie — and a moment to appreciate this extraordinary place we call home.

Last Sunday the Gouritsrivier reminded us just how powerful it is.
Swollen by days of rain across the entire Groot-Karoo catchment — fed by the Gamka, Olifants, and Grootrivier all at once — it flooded through the gorge and washed out the DR 1525 access road via Vleesbaai.

The road currently remains closed until further notice. Sea-la-Vie itself is standing strong. Gouritsmond is safe. And this community — as always — is resilient.

We'll post road updates here as soon as we have confirmed news.
