Winter looks good on Greyton.

In just one week’s time, our village will come alive with visitors exploring quiet streets, warming themselves around open fires and discovering some of South Africa’s finest wines during Greyton Fire + Wine.

Whether you spend your time wandering between tastings, browsing our galleries and shops, settling into one of our cafés, or simply enjoying the slower pace that winter brings to the village, it is the perfect excuse for a weekend away.

Do not let a little winter weather stop you. Pack your wellies, raincoat and a brolly, embrace the season and enjoy Greyton at its cosiest.

If you have not secured your tickets yet, now is the time. With attendance limited to just 500 guests, this is a wonderfully intimate celebration of wine, food and village life.

We look forward to welcoming you to Greyton next weekend. 🔥+🍷

A stay with purpose has arrived in Greyton. We are delighted to welcome River Haven to Greyton’s growing collection of beautiful places to stay.

Set alongside a gently flowing river, this thoughtfully restored heritage cottage combines timeless village charm with all the comforts of a modern getaway. It is the perfect base from which to explore Greyton’s cafés, galleries, mountain trails and slower pace of life.

What makes River Haven especially unique is its purpose: It forms part of The Haven Collection, an innovative sustainability initiative that helps fund The Nest Baby Haven which opens in Greyton this October. Income generated through guest stays contributes directly towards providing safe, nurturing, trauma-informed care for babies who have experienced loss, abandonment or unsafe beginnings while they await their forever families.

It is a wonderful example of tourism creating meaningful local impact, where every visitor not only experiences the best of Greyton but also becomes part of a story of hope, care and community.

If you are planning a visit to Greyton, River Haven is now welcoming guests, link to book your stay: https://www.airbnb.com/rooms/1719691109281257529?guests=1&adults=1&s=67&unique_share_id=da64b5bd-39f7-49db-bd39-40857e6315f2
