Safety Alert for Railway Tracks in Outeniqua Mountains

For your safety, please be aware that the Powervan is actively using the railway track in the Outeniqua Mountains with multiple daily trips. All hikers, cyclists, and visitors near the railway line should exercise caution.

Important Safety Guidelines:
• Stay Off the Track: Avoid walking directly on or near the railway tracks, as the Powervan cannot stop quickly.
• Supervise Children and Pets: Keep children close and pets on a leash.
• Look Out for Signage: Warning signs have been placed along the route to indicate that the track is in use.

Help us keep this beautiful area safe for everyone—stay alert and mindful when near the railway.

Get your running shoes ready for the 5km and 9km Redberry Farm Strawberry Run! Whether you prefer running or walking, enjoy the scenic route through the strawberry and kiwi fields!🏃‍♀ 🍓

📅 Date: 29 March 2025
⏰ Time: Entry from 07:15 - Trail Run will start at 08:00 for 9km | 08:15 for 5km
💰 Cost: 5km - R 30 | 9km – R50. Entry is on the day.
All proceeds will go towards Sports Academy, George

Please note this is not a timed trail run and is not accredited.

A water station will be available on both routes.
Please note: No dogs allowed.
