A baby elephant appears pink due to rare genetic conditions called albinism or leucism, which cause a lack of melanin (pigment) in the skin. The pink hue results from blood vessels being more visible through the unpigmented, often thin, skin.

Big brother meeting little brother. Me and Johan van Biljoen when we took delivery a few weeks ago. My final wash before I am off to Safari Conversions. The new suspension done at Camil suspensions. She just got her "tag" before the nip and tuck starts. The seats already removed at Safari Conversions even before I left the premises. The expansion dream is slowly coming to fulfillment.
