Matjiesfontein is a historic Victorian-era village located in the Central Karoo region of the Western Cape, South Africa, situated just off the N1 national highway.
Overview & History
Foundation: Founded in 1884 by Scottish railwayman James Douglas Logan as a railway refreshment station and health spa.
