𝗩𝗶𝗹𝗹𝗮 𝗦𝗼𝗻𝘀𝗸𝘆𝗻 𝗸𝗼𝗺𝘁 𝘁𝗲 𝗸𝗼𝗼𝗽!

We gaan ons mooie huis in de verkoop zetten omdat we meer willen reizen. Natuurlijk gaan we deze unieke plek missen. Want waar vind je tegenwoordig een huis waar je in totale rust midden in de bush leeft? En waar je vanuit je huis prachtige wandelingen kunt maken en dan zomaar een giraffe of een zebra tegen kunt komen? En dat allemaal aan de rand van Hoedspruit. Een gezellig dorp met (heel) veel lekkere restaurantjes en leuke winkeltjes. Binnen het uur rij je naar Kruger National Park en kun je op zoek naar de big 5. Wil je naar de bergen, ook dat kan. Voor de prachtige Drakensbergen met de Panorama route rij je de andere kant op en kun je genieten van de mooiste uitzichten.

Wie gaat er straks genieten van dit unieke plekje midden in de bush maar toch dichtbij de bewoonde wereld? Jij of iemand die jij kent misschien? Laat het ons weten.

𝗩𝗶𝗹𝗹𝗮 𝗦𝗼𝗻𝘀𝗸𝘆𝗻 𝗶𝘀 𝗰𝗼𝗺𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝘂𝗽 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝘀𝗮𝗹𝗲.!

We are going to put our beautiful house on sale because we want to travel more. Of course we are going to miss this unique place. Because where can you find a house these days where you live in total peace in the middle of the bush? And where you can take beautiful walks from your house and then just happen to come across a giraffe or a zebra? And all on the outskirts of Hoedspruit. A cosy village with (very) many delicious restaurants and nice shops. Within an hour you can drive to Kruger National Park and look for the big 5. If you want to go to the mountains, that's possible too. For the beautiful Drakensberg Mountains with the Panorama Route, drive the other way and you can enjoy the most beautiful views.

Another thirsty visitor this afternoon: mr. Giraffe🦒😍
This giraffe is very relaxed. You can talk to him and he will listen, for a while. And then he goes his own way 😅

The wildebeest (gnoe) came 10 minutes later for a drink. But he was to quick to take a photo unfortunately 🤣

The Sound of Silence

The silence at Villa Sonskyn was deafening today. We only heard nature. Birds that came to drink, a giraffe that came to meet us and nothing else. No cars, no people talking, really nothing at all. In the Netherlands this silence is unthinkable. That is why I love being at this special place in Hoedspruit.
