Hi you all!
We’ve been quiet on the gram, but busy in real life with lots of happy travellers and we’ve travelled ourselves too for work (Namibia, Mozambique and South Africa which was a-ma-zing) and also to visit family & friends overseas in Europe and ticking off some bucketlist adventures on that side of the planet.

We moved our house and we moved our office and we are more than ready for this new busy year and share more with you soon about our life, work and passion down in Africa!

For Heritage Day, we wanted to share something with you that means a lot to us.

A couple of weeks ago, Sabine and Nini were invited to visit one of the Nourish Eco Villages and discover their foundation, whose goal is to grow resilient wildlife communities through engagement in conservation and sustainability.
They create sustainable development and solutions in the wildlife buffer zones (between the urban areas and the wildlife areas), and build skills in the communities in the education, enterprise and tourism fields through an eco-village model. The Nourish Eco Villages are places where skills are taught, food is shared, knowledge is spread, and wildlife and nature is cared for. There are smaller scale programs in the villages, specific to each community’s needs, and range from sewing workshop, to chicken farm, to computer lab, to school, to stray animals outreach, to permaculture, and so on.
We were invited to the opening of their latest addition, the Wildflower Centre, a safe place for women to learn about empowerment and self love, but also about their cycle and sustainable sanitary products.

Coming soon at Travel DTA, the possibility to visit a Nourish Eco Village, and donations to the Nourish Foundation!
