We recently had the pleasure of planning this remarkable 16-night journey through Southern Africa for a group of friends.
This privately hosted adventure begins in the vibrant city of Cape Town, where dramatic coastlines, world-class cuisine, and rich culture set the tone for the journey ahead. Days unfold exploring the Cape Peninsula, wandering through historic neighborhoods, and enjoying the celebrated food and wine of the Cape, all framed by the iconic presence of Table Mountain.
From here, the journey continues to the banks of the mighty Zambezi River and the thunderous Victoria Falls. Mornings are filled with rising mist and the roar of the Falls, while evenings are spent drifting along the river at sunset.
Next comes the wildlife-rich landscapes of Chobe NP, where the rhythm of safari takes over. Game drives and river safaris reveal vast elephant herds, buffalo, and predators moving through one of Africa's most productive ecosystems.
The journey then flows deeper into the waterways of the Okavango Delta, a remarkable wilderness of channels, islands, and floodplains. Here, days are spent gliding quietly by mokoro through reed-lined waterways and exploring by vehicle as wildlife thrives in this ever-changing landscape shaped by seasonal floods.
The final chapter unfolds along the pristine shores of the Bazaruto Archipelago. With powder-white beaches and warm Indian Ocean waters, this is a place to slow down and unwind after safari, where days drift between snorkeling vibrant reefs, sailing traditional shows, and simply enjoying the rhythm of coastal life.
What we love about this itinerary;
● The contrast between vibrant city life and remote wilderness
● The majesty of the Zambezi River and the Victoria Falls
●Classic safari moments in Chobe paired with the serene waterways of the Okavango Delta
●A beautifully finale along the untouched coast of Mozambique.
If this sounds like your kind of African journey, we would love to design something as special for you.
Save this, share it, and reach out when you are ready to start planning your own adventure.
