Following recent heavy rainfall, the Blyde River Canyon has transformed into a lush, green landscape, with the Blyde dam at full capacity. Unfortunately, this has led to the temporary closure of Blyde Canyon Boat cruises due to elevated water levels.
Operations resumed today on the 20 January. In the meantime, the Kadishi tufa waterfall is a must-see, highlighting the natural beauty of the Blyde Canyon. Be sure to visit this stunning waterfall.
