This past week, we had the absolute pleasure of hosting return guests on a privately guided safari with , crafting extraordinary memories in the heart of the wild.
From breathtaking wildlife encounters to immersive bush experiences, every moment was special.

One of the highlights? An awe-inspiring stargazing experience with Ben Coley from . Under the vast African sky, we journeyed beyond the Big 5—exploring the secrets of the cosmos.
Learning about the stars above us is nothing short of life-changing, adding a whole new dimension to the safari experience.

A fundamental concern for others in our individual and community lives would go a long way in making the world the better place we so passionately dreamt of”.

I have always tried to action his words in my life within the safari industry. Every November the Pfukani creche in Thorndale Village (adjoining the Manyeleti) holds their annual graduation ceremony ... which I attend as it is the highlight of my year.

Pungwe Safari Camp has supported the creche over the past 2 decades. Each year we provide personalized school back packs and stationary for the little ones going on to attend Xinaketi primary school.

The sheer pride and joy expressed by the kids is truly heartwarming.”

Episode 43- Bushveld Chronicals, Black-Footed Cats and Black Rhino Stalemates with Julian Geerts

As an Italian growing up in Africa, the bushveld bug bit Julian hard and fast. Since flying back to South Africa the day after completing university in Rome, Julian has dedicated his life to nature. His personalised safari tours, named Blackfoot Safaris has deep rooted significance in his date with destiny in rearing these wonderful cats through necessity.

My takeaway was one of awareness and mindfulness around the approach taken by Julian with respect to his awareness of every trace he may leave behind in his daily dance with the African bush.

It was wonderful to chat to a man who is so clearly living out his passion and dream.
