Our in-house wildlife photographer, Jack Lawes, doesn’t photograph wildlife just to take pictures. He does it to capture fleeting, unforgettable moments and showcase the beauty of Africa’s natural world.

Out here, moments are fleeting, a glance, a movement, a story unfolding in seconds. Wildlife photography gives Jack a way to connect with those moments and to remember them long after the dust settles.

Equally important to him is teaching others how to capture their own version of these moments. Watching someone learn to see differently, to come away with images that instantly bring them back to an experience of a lifetime, is the real reward.

Because a great photo isn’t just about settings or gear. It’s about presence, patience, and understanding the wild.

ELEPHANTS OF KRUGER APPRECIATE POST 🐘

There’s nothing quite like watching elephants in the wild and Kruger National Park is home to one of the largest elephant populations in Africa.

Some of our most unforgettable moments on this expedition included seeing a newborn calf, less than a week old, nursing from its mother. A majestic female with a uniquely bent left tusk, and entire herds cooling off in the mud and dust. Pure magic. ✨
