Professional Field Guide – Matumi Destinations
Location: Hoedspruit, Limpopo
Position: Full-Time
Matumi Destinations is looking for a passionate and enthusiastic Professional Field Guide to join our growing team.
If you have a love for wildlife, enjoy working with people, and want to build your guiding career in the Hoedspruit area, we would love to hear from you.
Minimum Requirements
• FGASA Level 1 (minimum)
• Valid PDP
• Valid First Aid Certificate
• DEAT Registration
• Excellent communication and people skills
• Professional appearance and positive attitude
• Fluent in English (additional languages are an advantage)
• Ability to work weekends, public holidays, and flexible hours
• A genuine passion for conservation and creating memorable guest experiences
Responsibilities
• Conduct morning, afternoon, full-day safari experience as well as Panorama Routes and transfers.
• Provide informative and engaging wildlife interpretation.
• Ensure the safety and comfort of guests at all times.
• Daily vehicle checks, cleaning of vehicles and equipment, and basic maintenance.
• Represent Matumi Destinations professionally and uphold our high service standards.
