This was absolutely one of the best travel destinations we as a family have had ! An absolute gem hidden away and very private with the most beautiful setting and an extremely welcoming host who goes the extra mile! It was very homely and fully accommodated all you need and then some! We will definitely be back! A short hop into Kruger and excellent value for money! As well as tips and good communication from a very friendly and knowledgable man who was very hospitable. Highly recommend for something special! 10 out of 10!

As heavy rain continues to fall over the Kruger to Canyons Biosphere Region, K2C's CEO Marié-Tinka Uys shared this vision for the organisation for the year:

As we step into 2026 in the K2C Biosphere Region, we do so grounded in a landscape that is both fragile and resilient, supported by communities who continue to embrace it, improve it, and create better futures for themselves and generations to come.

The year behind us reminded us that meaningful change happens when trust, collaboration and consistency guide the work. We've seen this in the hectares restored, the conflicts resolved, and the partnerships strengthened.

One of the few gems left on Airbnb that is truly someone’s family home where they’ll take the time to show you around. We had just one night at Adolf’s but he showed us in and then gave us a tour and took us exploring before we checked out the next morning. Hope to cross paths again someday. Thank you sir!!”
