We had our staff uniforms done from start to finish

They did the supply, embroidery and the delivery and it could not have been easier

It has often been difficult to find someone that can do it all and get it right, and in a short time! So well done, we will be back!!!

We had some of out guests visit the lodge and it was really comfortable!

The pool and the braai area was very nice and they even saw the Warthogs coming for a visit in the mudpool outside the lodge!

Really nice spot and we will use it again

A quick view of one of the sightings we had this weekend at Thornybush reserve whilst doing some work at Monwana

We have had some great sightings this last few days and the rain has caught up with us now so some time for ‘inside work’

A little ‘look behind the scenes’ or perhaps from the Game Viewer!

Currently we are busy training the entire staff team component of Sanbona Wildlife Reserve in the Western Cape

Sanbona, a stunning venue and reserve, has got quite a few challenges in terrain and the landscape does present it’s challenges in order to conduct daily game drives, transfers of guests and Anti-Poaching &/ Game Ranch Management work

This is the second time our training is being done here, as after Covid there are quite a few new faces!

Thanks to Sanbona for doing our Guide & Reserve Spec 4x4 Driver training, as well as our more basic Vehicle & Site Specific course

So far we are only on day 3, and a lot more days to come!

This video was taken during one of the practical training sessions with a Guide being taught how to drive up and down steep hills and ridges with difficult terrain in a safe & ecologically sound way

I will not mention exact location as to the prevalent poaching situation which still is targeted to these animals

Spring is on it’s way and it will be the official start of our next training calendar. Our industry is now well on it’s way to recovery after Covid

The time has come to start ensuring our guiding industry’s driving standard

Sanbona Wildlife Reserve has invited us back to come train over 50 of their staff members in our Guide Spec 4x4 Training, as well as a Vehicle specific driver training for their general staff

So we are officially approaching 4 years after Covid Started .. ( I know let us not think about that year! )

A lot has changed here, and to say it has been an adventure with both good and bad is an understatement!

I am officially moving back to my Travel and Training Company; after spending the last two and a half years building another company which has absorbed all of my time and efforts.

Currently I am busy setting up the next 18 months on our Training and Tourism projects, and if you are keen to look at booking your next training course or a trip to Africa, let me know

A lot of new things have happened and those of you that know me on a more personal level will know more, Bottomline...

Africa is my home and I hope to show it to some of you again soon, old faces and new. I may have been 'off the map' for very long, but the bush has a way of calling you and it seems I cannot ignore it any further
