Deep in the Amatola mountains, the trails are waiting.
The owls know, the waterfalls whisper, and the forest waits for the sound of feet once more.
Each year the forest opens its paths, alive with night runners chasing shadows, families laughing through the fun run, and Hobbiters testing themselves over 21km, 42km, or the full 90km (Nonstop or Journey). Some stitch the trails together and weave their own stage race, others throw everything at a single distance.
The Amatolas ask for grit and give back wonder. However you run, the forest will remember you.
It is a long weekend for the whole family to share, with firelight, forest paths, and stories carried home in tired legs and full hearts.
