THIS IS THE CAPE TOWN WE LOVE TO SHARE

Noordhoek Beach is one of those places that reminds you just how spectacular the Cape Peninsula really is.

Miles of white sand. The mountains rising behind the beach. The Atlantic rolling in. And plenty of space to simply walk, breathe and take it all in.

These images were taken during one of our Cape Peninsula trips with some of our guests.

For us, it’s not just about ticking off the famous sights. It’s about experiencing Cape Town from a local perspective — finding those places where the landscape speaks for itself and creating moments our guests will remember.

SOMETIMES LUXURY IS SOMETHING YOU SIMPLY NOTICE

At Camp Kipwe in Damaraland, it was the little details that made our stay particularly special.

The lodge embraces its surroundings rather than trying to compete with them. Natural materials, an open-air bathroom and simple, beautifully chosen details create a sense of place that feels very much at home in the Namibian landscape.

Even something as ordinary as the handwash and lotion becomes part of the experience.

Nothing feels excessive. Nothing feels out of place. Everything has been considered.

And perhaps that is what we love about this kind of luxury: it doesn’t need to show off.

There are moments in Namibia when you simply have to stop, look around and enjoy the moment.

Spitzkoppe at sunset is one of them.

The mountains turn deep red, the light becomes incredible - and Lu decided that this was the perfect moment for a little dance.

Llandudno is one of the Cape Peninsula’s 8 stunning beaches - and one of those special places that can easily be missed if you stick to the usual Cape Town itinerary.

Forget the usual gourmet restaurant list for a moment.

One of the things we love most about Cape Town is discovering places that don’t necessarily make the international “must-visit” lists — but absolutely deserve to.

Today, we experienced a fine-dining lunch at Vergenoegd W**e Farm, and it was a perfect example of why we keep searching beyond the obvious.

For us, luxury travel isn’t simply about ticking off famous restaurants and attractions. It’s about finding those special places, unexpected experiences and local gems that turn a good trip into a memorable one.

There are many ways to start a morning in Cape Town. One of our favourites? A refreshing dive into a tidal pool.

The Atlantic Ocean is famously cold, but the tidal pools along Cape Town’s coastline offer slightly warmer water and a much-loved spot for an early-morning swim. You’ll often find locals taking their first dip of the day before work, breakfast or anything else gets started.

It’s refreshing, invigorating - and wonderfully Cape Town.
