Fun Farm adventure camp sleeps 72 children in a save environment with complete ablution facilities for boys and girls. There is accommodation for the bus driver available. Activities include the following: Camel rides, horse cart rides, tractor and trailer rides, a visit to the farm museum, the fun farm bird park and the snakes. Sitting around a camp fire, marshmallow braai, swimming in the farm dam, Climbing over the obstacle course, night march, mud fights, foefie slide, boersports, bird watching, mud king and mud queen competitions, bird watching, educational talks, and much more. DIRECTIONS TO THE FUN FARM
From Newcastle take the N11 to Volksrust, At the Ingogo turnoff turn left. Continue for 4.1km to the school on your right hand side. At the school turn right into the D325. Proceed from the school for 3.8km until you see the railway bridge. At the crossing before the bridge turn left. Proceed from the bridge for 0.6km and trun left into the farm. You will see the FUN FARM sign on the gate. From Volksrust take the N11 to Newcastle. At the Ingogo turnoff turn right and proceed as above.
